| It's been so long since I've looked at this that it took me a few minutes to figure out how to post. Life isn't the best right now but I've got nobody to talk to anymore so here I am again talking to nobody and yet everyone, almost hoping someone is reading but not really at the same time.
It hasn't just been a while since I last blogged. It's been a while since I thought about it but I did today and it scared me. I almost cried when I realized it. I thought about it again on the way home. It doesn't take much. I just have to close my eyes and twist my wrist. I actually did for a couple seconds too. But listening to the engine scream and the wind roar scared me so I opened my eyes. Haha, look at me. I'm emo now.

| Go karts at Dromo was cool. Only three of us ended up driving since we had to wait 2 hours to get a slot. Very high demand. Reserve your spot in advance if you plan on going.
Christmas has passed but spending isn't over yet! I've got a couple potentially very expensive things left to repair on my bike before I go back to school next year. I've run my rear tire down to the threads. If you don't know, that's borderline blow-out. I told my dad I needed new tires and he refused to believe me and said that I still had plenty of tread left. He's right, I do have plenty of tread left... on the SIDES... He forgets that I do a lot of freeway riding so I wear through the middle of my tire much faster than the sides. Rear tire is around $170 before tax and front will be around $130-140... Having a hell of time just getting the damn front tire off...
On top of the tires I've also got a leak on my left fork... Dunno how I got it or how long I've had it but it needs to get fixed right now. There's some big rock pits at the bottom of the forks that probably gouged the seal when the forks compressed too far. I must have gotten it when went over some big speed bumps today or a couple days ago... Anyway, that's a potentially very expensive fix...
So much money!!! Anyone wanna give me an early birthday present?

| The ride was awsome! There's some pics here. I've improved a lot since I last rode with the guys and met a couple new people. I still get a long with older people a lot better than people my own age. Still haven't figured out why.
Hopefully I'll get around to going karting on Wednesday out at dromo in Orange. 40 mph indoor go karts! Weeeee!
I've noticed that the bike feels faster when I haven't ridden for a while. When I first got my bike back a couple weeks ago after my accident it felt so fast. Now it's feeling a bit slow. I still make great speed off of a stop if I try (and waste some gas) but I feel kinda slow on the freeways when everyone is passing me when I'm going 80. I've also seen the power difference between my old 900 and the newer S4R. Kinda makes me want a stronger bike but I bet that would get me killed for sure.

| Been a while. Made it home fine last Wednesday. Stayed in SLO to help some teachers move stuff around campus and then helped a teacher move into his new house. Going on a ride today. Wish me luck. If I don't make it back someone get my dad a SOG crossgrip plier from REI for me Of course I'll make it back though so don't worry. I've already had my one accident for the year so I'm invincible! Happy Holidays!
